Our history
"How it all began"
1970
Ulrich Thiele founded Ulrich Thiele KG in Bielefeld in 1970.
The core business was trading in European sawn timber.
The existing customer base was sustainably supplied with pine
for window construction and oak for furniture construction.
1970 - 1972 - 1980 - 1982
"Leopoldshöhe had to be called home"
1984
Due to an increased acceptance of scantlings and friezes in industrial production, Ulrich Thiele GmbH grew. A move to Leopoldshöhe as well
as the construction of a new 2000 square meter
storage area were the consequence.
1984 - 1985 - 1992 - 2000 - 2004
"until today"
2004
Demand from other European countries
increased steadily. To ensure that customers
could be reliably supplied with wood,
the storage capacity was expanded by 2000 square meters.
