Today Ulrich Thiele GmbH Holzimport is a company offering clients from the solid wood-processing industry a variety of European and American hardwoods in scantlings, friezes and cuttings. As early as in 1972 the company moved to larger premises in Spenge. In the course of the following years the business continued to expand. The constant growth brought up the need to move again in 1983, this time to Leopoldshöhe. In the following years the company’s development to its present size took place on this complex. Modern, air-conditioned storage halls and conventional air kilns dryers are located on an area of 18,000 square metres. In 2004 Ulrich Thiele stepped back from the operational management. Since then, Nicola Thiele-Kahler – the founder’s daughter – and Andreas Panreck are jointly running the business. Large storage facilities, a company-owned transport fleet and state-of-the-art drying facilities make Ulrich Thiele GmbH Holzimport a perfect full-service-partner for solid wood processors. Many well-known companies have grown to appreciate the wide range and our competence. We take great pride in this fact!
